Sean Stewart is an accomplished attorney and policy strategist with a rare blend of experience in national security, federal lawmaking, and high-level legal analysis. His career spans senior roles in Congress and the U.S. intelligence community, where he has helped shape landmark legislation, advance U.S. interests overseas, and navigate some of the most complex and consequential arenas of government and law.
Most recently, Sean served with a leading agency in the U.S. intelligence community, where he was involved in classified overseas intelligence operations. His work earned multiple commendations for exceptional service—though the details of both his assignments and recognitions remain classified. His work demanded exceptional judgment, operational discipline, and strategic clarity in high-stakes, high-security environments.
Before his work in national security, Sean spent five years on Capitol Hill as counsel to the House Committee on Natural Resources, where he led legal and policy efforts on federal land use, energy development, and environmental regulation. He also served on the Senate Judiciary Committee and as a member of Senator Mike Lee’s staff, advising on constitutional law, judicial nominations, and broad legislative strategy and initiatives.
Sean earned his Juris Doctor from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University and holds a B.A. in Economics. Today, he leverages his unique combination of legal expertise, national security and operational experience, and deep institutional knowledge of Congress to help clients navigate Washington’s complex power structures with clarity, confidence, and strategic advantage.
Sean splits his time between DC and Idaho where he lives with his wife and 5 kids and spends his time ranching and breaking horses.
